2022 Outlook: The Problem with Puerto Rico and Why I’m Moving to Florida

It’s the most Puerto Rican thing I can do. The Puerto Rican government is taking away our rights. We are already treated like second class citizens. It’s fascism in my opinion. I took my grandpa to the island yesterday and he couldn’t enter without my help. After three years of living in Puerto Rico I have learned a lot about why everyone leaves. Simply, they want a better life. There is no future in Puerto Rico.

As I start my new life in Florida, I realize all the rights that we have as Americans and how free the state of Florida is compared to a majority of the states. Expect another Texas Summer tour, it’s gonna be a blast! I’ve decided it’s best to part ways with my new band, Locodrilo and continue doing what I do best, which is perform classic country music to good ole folks like yourselves.
